We visited Mars a couple of weeks ago (it’s possible that it was actually Newfoundland’s Bonavista Peninsula and Fogo Island, I can’t remember). While there, I took advantage of the embarassingly rich supply of thundering fog-covered landscapes to make this unearthly little series. I enlisted the fine help of my awesome nephew Jonah and my beautiful wife Cait, who, despite the wind+rain, were very eager to set off smoke canisters as well as to appear in a few pictures. You’ll see them if you look hard enough. Maybe.

And, if you have a really sharp eye, you might see Marvin the Martin in one or two. Or not. I could be lying.
